On May 3, 1994 at 8:45 p.m. I followed a road that lead me to freedom from an alcohol addiction that was ruining my life. I was about to loose my wife and the life that God truly had planned for me. So I ask you this question, If you have no where else to look and you are truly at what you feel is the bottom then please try looking up. Listed below is the road I followed and it's made me a better man, not a perfect man. I will tell you this though, it's not always going to be easy but the ride is always worth it.
Romans 3:22-24 "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 10:12-13 "For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Here's the invitation from Jesus.
Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
If you invited Him in then you are now a child of God. John 1:12 "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"
I would love to hear your story. Also, here is a link to an online bible that will help you stay on the road. http://bible.christianity.com/
